<p>The probe designed for the MAKERA Carvera Air™ milling machine handles auto-probing and auto-leveling functions, enabling precise detection of the material surface and automatic tool calibration.
This makes the setup process faster and more precise, resulting in better machining quality and a lower risk of errors.
The probe is factory-mounted on the right side of the spindle and ready for use immediately after starting the machine; its installation and removal are performed in the same manner as for a standard cutter.
Unlike standard tools, contact between the probe and an obstacle can cause serious damage, so caution must be exercised and its movement monitored during operation.
