- 1" (25 mm) Silk Dome Component Tweeter, Single - Born from shared technologies used in our flagship C7 speakers, the C6-100ct component tweeter benefits from vast speaker design experience and advanced modeling systems of JL Audio.
- Ideal for active systems, the C6-100ct component tweeter features an edge-driven, pure silk dome diaphragm for smooth, high-frequency performance with remarkable off-axis response and damping.
A neodymium motor and ferrofluid cooling provide high-magnetic flux and improved reliability with extended response from a very compact motor system.
Surface- and flush-mount fixtures are included to fit a wide variety of installation applications.
- Passive crossover networks are not included with C6 drivers, as they are designed for active systems.
Instead, we recommend a high-quality tuning digital signal processor (DSP), such as the JL Audio TwK® DSP or a VXi amplifier with built-in DSP, with a dedicated amplifier channel for each C6 loudspeaker in the system.
Precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters will ensure optimal in-vehicle performance.
- Component tweeters are sold individually and include surface- and flush-mount fixtures and hardware.
One 15 μF tweeter protection capacitor is also included.
